THE MEANING OF AGRAGAMI
Agragami means ‘Pioneering’ and ‘moving forward’ and another lesser known name is Lord Ganesha. He is one of the best known and most worshipped deity in the Hindu pantheon.
Ganesha is easily recognized by his elephant head, despite his numerous other characteristics. Many people worship Ganesha as the deva of intellect and wisdom, the patron of the arts and sciences, the Lord of Beginnings (new endeavors, pioneering, going forward), and the remover of barriers. Being a non-sectarian deity, everyone invokes Ganesha before the start of religious rituals, significant endeavors, and prayers.
"The seeker of knowledge has no need for life's luxuries, not even for sleep," is the banner's Sanskrit phrase, which can be roughly translated. An inquisitive mind is like a dazzling foundation of questions and ideas, and creative individuals know this for sure. Since knowledge is the only resource that grows through sharing and utilization, each droplet tries to connect another to form a pool. In addition to being the most valuable asset, knowledge is also impenetrable.

The elephant represents memory, power, and intelligence. The interweaving of cosmic and physical energy is symbolized by the two interconnected stars. A balance of the six energy present in the sun's rays is symbolized by the six- pointed star.

Agragami PU College is affiliated with the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, and follows the guidelines and curriculum prescribed by the Karnataka Pre-University Education Board (PUEB).
